Nice to have you back again here. Our Focus for the Month is Vision. We treated Identity last month. We also treated practical steps to discover your identity. So on the strength of that, Identity discovery has a lot to do with vision. If you understand your identity or who you are, your sight/vision will be clear!Vision is simply your ability to see through your imagination or your mind. It's a mental  (intangible) picture captured about your future even when it hasn't become a reality.

I'll give you some examples; A secondary school student has a vision to become a Nurse someday. She is not a nurse yet but she already sees herself become it in her mind. An engineering student already sees himself owning his own factory. That's vision.

Now let me bring it home to you. On the strength of discovering your identity, you must begin to have a mental picture of whatyou desire for yourself in the future. Your imagination is very powerful, you have no idea.

Quite frankly if you always see yourself as a failure, you'll keep failing in life. The worse is having no mental picture of your future. Anything that happens to you beconesacceptable. That's a wrong way to live!

You must dream! You must see in your mind! It's only a matter of time and it will materialize. Knowing who God has called you to be gives you the audacity to dare and dream big! Even when your reality doesn't look like it.

God asked Abraham, what do you see? He also asked Jeremiah, what do you see? Now I'm asking you, WHAT DO YOU SEE ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHERE GOD IS TAKING YOU TO?
