What can you see?

Vision - Sight! (The purpose of Vision to the Believer)

The Word "viision can be interpreted in so many ways to so many but a closer look at the word we will see that all it's definitions and descriptions can be traced back to the word SIGHT!

It is the faculty or state of being able to see.

Vision can be define as the experience of seeing something others cannot see.

For the purpose of this Article, I will simply define vision as how far you can see with your mind's eye.

Gen.13.14 - The LORD said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, "Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west.

Gen.13.15 - All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.

As far as your eyes can see, you will receive!

One of the characteristics of the Eagle that distinguish him from other animals is the Eagle's sight, Eagles have a keen vision. Their eyes are specially designed for long distance focus and clarity. The Eagle's vision directs him to his prey and his eyes remains focused till he gets his goals.

For you to achieve more, become better and more effective you must have the Eagle's sight first to see your target, then to remain focused on it till you achieve it.

If I watch the life of Jesus really closely while he was on Earth, it is clear that Jesus knew his Target and everything he did was directed to that goal, the redemption of man!

What can you see?

For the Believer God gives him insight and foresight to see all he wants him to be, God has put so much in the Believer and has destined him to reign in life. Vision (Sight) is to help the Believer become all his creator has created them to be!

It is God's way of keeping him focused and determined to become more, it brings a desire for direction from God and and a need for him to always draw close to God. Vision brings a sense of purpose to the Believer and it's constrains him to walk in alignment with God's will.

Vision is an attribute of our creator, God and he gifts us this ability for us to showforth his excellent nature and above all fulfill his will.

Vision is not Ambition. VISION IS DIFFERENT FROM AMBITIONS. Yes. It is.

Ambition is something sponsored solely by you. It has “you” written all over it. It is always something you can handle. Nothing invisible or divine fuels it. Ambition can be cut short when things don't go the way you planned it.

But Vision, when received and gotten is always bigger than the individual. The vision is never about you but about other people. Also Vision when inspired by God can never fail or be cut short! NEVER!

If you don't work on it, some other person will. So… We have many ambitious people but very few people of vision
