Everyone knows how important words are, or maybe not. Maybe they’ve hurt you so bad or they’ve made you feel on top of the world. So here’s how I’d like to define it; Words are Spirit!! Please, read John 6:63. Words when said,written or read either causes harm or good. Notice that when you speak or hear words, your face doesn’t get a bruise or your hand doesn’t break, rather your emotions and feelings grab them and sends information to your brain and then to your body which then reacts. So words are beyond physical.

So quickly how do we as young people speak right words that heal rather than hurt or harm? Yeah, at least you have your mouth to control and I have mine to control so I’d say you consciously decide to speak right, feed on the right things, avoid speaking vulgar words!! I know someone is saying,”what if the hurtful words come from another to me?” Well my dear, it’s amazing you still have control over your emotions and thoughts!! Decide not to let it get to you and move on, life is too short or long to spend it angry!!

Finally, as a human being our words are powerful, as a child of God our words are prophecies that will definitely come to pass. That's why when you wake up you speak positive words over your life and future. It is called 'Affirmations'. So as young people let's learn to speak well into our future.
