Heeyy!! It's been like ages! I've missed the TYB family. How have you been? I'm so glad to be back. This month promises to be exciting and insightful.

It's fine if you've not achieved much for yourself in 2020, it's totally fine. As a matter of fact, I'm very happy you are reading this right now. You are healthy and sane. That's enough to be grateful for.

However, I don't think 2020 is a 'cursed' year. I think 2020 is a historic and strategic year, with a lot that has happened this year all over the world(mostly bad). God could have stopped all these from happening, knowing He holds time and seasons in His hands but He let them happen! My big question of the year... WHY?

Don't be deceived, everything happens for a reason. It's your responsibility to find out why it happened. Only blind and ignorant people can't read and understand the handwriting on the wall. Permit me to say again that 2020 is a strategic year! I'll tell you why. First, it's a beginning of a new decade. See the year 2020 as a pregnant woman in labour. When the baby is due to come out, there's so much pain, there's so much blood rushing out as the baby is coming out. I personally believe this explains the killings, bloodshed, the protests, the pandemic and the tragic events that has occured in Nigeria especially.

This is not to trivialize the death of our loved ones, May their soul rest in perfect peace, AMEN. This is just an indication that there's a lot that will be happening in this decade. So the earlier we take responsibility for our lives and people around us, the better. There's a lot about this year I may not be able to share here but I want to leave you with this...

Now more than ever, Nigeria and the world at large needs young people who will correct bad systems in government, education, entertainment, family, etc... Young people with true value and integrity. A selfless generation of young people that will make sure they build systems of change wherever they find themselves! The time of our Fathers have Passed (This doesn't mean we neglect the works and sweat of our Fathers) but there's more work to do. It's left for us to Be better and do better!

Decide to start where you are, stand for truth, be honest, be full of integrity. Check your value system every now and then. Love and Value people. Don't loose your authenticity. Don't loose your light, the world needs it! Build character NOW! I hope this challenged you...
